Compassionate + Creative Hands-On Care for birth, Death and All In Between

Who am I & vision statement

Greetings Lovelies! I'm Rebecca. We are all born and we all will die. I want a world where these processes are spoken about and celebrated. The joys, challenges, pain, comfort and all in between + beyond. I wish to provide support to those experiencing these processes, and a world where birth and death are moments of care, community, love, and honoring sacred traditions of our ancestors. Where birthers, diers, and everyone in between are treated with respect and dignity.
Other passions include hiking, farming, cooking, dancing, reading, and staring at the moon

SOME INSPIRATIONS

The Do It For The Love foundation, created by musician Michael Franti and emergency room nurse Sarah Agah, brings people with terminal illness to experience the healing power of live music

In this TEDx talk, Dr. Evita Fernadez describes the importance of birther’s autonomy and having a supportive medical care team who goes beyond the tragically typical hospital birthing experience. Hospitals often place structures/systems that medicalize birth while not doing what is best for the birther, birth care workers must uplift the birther as they can.

A “full service funeral home specializing in human composting”, this organization brings the body back to the earth, nourishing soil and allowing new life to bloom. They also provide support and care to the mourners throughout the process.
